A moody room, a groovy playlist, and over 500 wines chosen for one reason: they’re good to drink. Sommelier Patrick Mouritzen was an early force in Copenhagen’s wine bar scene. After sharpening his craft at some of New York’s top wine destinations, he returned to Vesterbro to strip it all down.
At v.Lo, the list shakes off trends and leans into taste. Juicy Gamay from Les Terres d’Ocre in Saint-Pourçain. Floral whites shaped by Ribeira’s granitic hills. Lightly macerated oranges from Rheinhessen. Supple Barolo. Sangiovese from Mariotti Bindi, one of Corsica’s best producers. Gin & tonics, negronis, and Aperol spritzes are mixed with respect for the classics, while charcuterie and tinned fish back whatever you’re sipping.
Slide in for a glass. Stay late for one more.
