Café Niko is where multidisciplinary design studio NIKO JUNE applies its craft to small plates and highballs. Here, former Michelin chef and fellow artist Felix Schellhorn shapes a menu inspired by Mediterranean flavors, local produce, and the belief that humble aperitivo deserves the same care as everything else in the room.
Everything is made to be passed around the table. Gildas, Gordal olives, and Basque salami get things started. Sourdough grilled cheese comes layered with Havarti, mustard, and pickles. Semi-dried beets are finished with fig leaf oil, toasted yeast, and grated Havgus. Slow-roasted peppers marinated in Bornholm cider vinegar meet fresh goat's cheese, while courgettes and tomatoes are dressed in anchovy vinaigrette. Chocolate mousse lands with nothing more than sea salt.
Small plates in the sun, a table by the harbor, and nowhere else to be.
