Pick whatever you like at Sonny in Østerbro, City Center, and Frederiksberg — One of the city’s favorite breakfast and lunch spots has a new address
The menu follows the fields of Birkemosegård, the baking happens in-house, and the coffee is taken as seriously as both. It’s a formula that has kept seats full for nearly a decade. With a new Østerbro café joining the family, there’s more of Sonny to go around—and plenty beyond the banana bread to put on your plate.
Sonny’s take on a croque monsieur layers prosciutto with herbed béchamel. Folded eggs come slick with miso chili oil. Pancakes, frittatas, and generous salads round things out, while cinnamon buns, frosted carrot cakes, and cookies fill the bakery case. Behind the bar, carefully brewed coffee, matcha, and juices keep the drinks as considered as the cooking.
