Copenhagen café icon Atelier September comes to New York for one weekend only
Few cafés have shaped a city’s appetite quite like Atelier September. Since 2013, chef Frederik Bille Brahe’s singular cooking has defined the Copenhagen café table, keeping locals close and drawing visitors from around the world. On November 7-8, he brings that world to Altbau Bakery, the new Williamsburg bakery from Tartine cofounder Chad Robertson.
Each ticket guarantees one person a seat and applies a $25 deposit toward your order of Atelier September’s breakfast and lunch classics. The Morning Plate pairs sourdough with 24-month-aged Comté, a soft-boiled egg, whipped butter, and jam. Seasonal omelets come with sourdough, while thick almond pancakes arrive with berries and cream. Yogurt and granola get the café’s signature zucchini jam. The green dish of the day leaves the final say to the season.
