Pick whatever you like at the Dry & Bitter pop-up shops in Islands Brygge and Vesterbro – Fill up your fridge with cans of world-class, freshly brewed beer
If you couldn’t tell from the name, these guys are big fans of hops. They were one of the first breweries in Denmark to release New England-style IPAs, and hop-forward beer enthusiasts from across Europe, Australia, and Asia have been faithfully buying their brews since they opened in 2015. It comes as no surprise that they specialize in IPAs, but their range also includes everything from pilsners and porters to barrel-aged sours and wild-fermented brews. Now, they’ve opened two pop-up shops – one inside Bootleggers in Islands Brygge and another inside Fermentoren in Vesterbro – so you can fill up your fridge with some of the freshest cans around.

What’s the best way to ensure your bar is always fully stocked with incredible beer? Start brewing it yourself. That’s exactly what the team at Fermentoren began doing in 2015. After several years of solo success, they teamed up with Bootleggers in 2023 to take things to the next level. Consistency is key, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t room for experimentation. At Dry & Bitter, they launch a new beer every week, and many are in collaboration with the likes of musicians, festivals, and artists. Here, it’s all about keeping the creative juices – and deliciously drinkable beers – flowing.
