Karamelleriet has been capturing the hearts and tastebuds of Copenhageners for nearly two decades now, and everyone from Condé Nast to The New York Times has written about their fanciful flavors. Each delectable bite is slow-cooked, shaped, and cut by hand, and owners Tine Ipsen and Charlotte Vigel love to pay homage to their birthplace of Bornholm by demonstrating true craftsmanship. This summer, they revitalized the name and packaging for their tantalizing treats, making it even easier to understand what their sweet shop is all about. But, there’s never been any doubt – this place crafts some of the finest caramels in Denmark, maybe even the world.
