In the short time the bar has been open, Ruby and Lidkoeb alumni Colin Edie and Sam Mangabu have created their own standout genre in Copenhagen’s craft cocktail scene. At The House of Machines, the innovative and season-driven menu spans from refined throwbacks to inspired new takes – all served in laid-back, vintage interiors. In 2024, they took home accolades from industry peers by winning Best New Cocktail Bar at the Bartender’s Choice Awards, and in March of this year, they won Best Signature Cocktail for their savory Red Snapper Martini. If you’re in the mood for something other than the extensive cocktail list, the bar also offers a strong selection of natural wines and Gamma beers on tap.

Enjoy a decadent All Caps with Ocho Reposado tequila, cacao nibs, fortified wine, maraschino, coffee distillate, and orange. Drink a Scotch & Soda, a wonderfully complex whisky highball with peach tea-infused Glasshouse scotch, apple brandy, sherry, verjus, and soda, or a White Negroni. Imbibe a novel Original Nuttah, a rich tipple with Johnny Walker Black Label, Cocchi Americano, macadamia, cacao nibs, green walnut aperitif, and salt. Explore their selection of beers on tap from Gamma or get a glass of natural wine. Treat yourself to freshly shucked oysters with pickled tomato brine mignonette.
